This morning, City Officials joined H.E. the Deputy Governor, Dr. Mathew Owili, as he welcomed representatives from ACAL Consulting Ltd, contracted by the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, State Department for Housing and Urban Development to conduct the First Annual Performance Assessment (APA I) for the 45 counties in the Second Kenya Urban Support Programme (KUSP2). The team is in Kisumu to assess the city’s performance in meeting Minimum Conditions and Performance Standards, which will determine its eligibility for the disbursement of Urban Development Grant funds for FY24/25.
