The City Manager participated in the Standard Chartered Marathon, which saw over 450 participants gathering in Lakeside City for a vibrant display of community spirit. The event, now in its third consecutive year as a satellite run of the StanChart Nairobi Marathon, painted Kisumu in blue and green as enthusiastic runners took to the streets.
This marathon not only showcased Kisumu’s growing prominence in hosting large-scale sporting events but also highlighted the significance of the StanChart Marathon in promoting health, fitness, and social impact through its global reach and charitable initiatives.
