The City manager Hosts the German Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Sebastian Groth, for lunch at Cassa-Kiboko Bay. During our discussions, we focused on the pressing issue of perennial flooding affecting the Dunga, Nyamasaria, Kapuothe, and Nyalenda areas. We explored potential technical assistance for flood mitigation measures through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) to address these persistent challenges and enhance the resilience of the affected communities. This proposed collaboration aims to leverage German expertise to develop sustainable solutions for flood management in Kisumu.
