The Governor Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o Commissioned the Mother and Child Unit and the X-Ray Machine at Pap Onditi Sub County Hospital today. This highlights his government’s dedication to improving maternal healthcare in the County.
Yesterday afternoon, a team of medics performed the first-ever successful cesarean section in Nyakach Sub-County since Independence. Both mother and child are in good health following this historic operation. This achievement demonstrates that our Sub-County hospitals are now well-equipped to carry out major medical procedures. We will continue to staff and equip all our Sub-County hospitals to better serve our people.
