Mr. Aaron Ochieng is a veteran journalist and a communications expert with over 20 years’ experience in the media industry. Currently holding the position of Director of Communication and Corporate Affairs, he is a member of the US based National Association of Black Journalist (NABJ) as well as Media Council of Kenya (MCK). He holds a Master’s Degree in Communications from Howard University (HU) in Washington DC, Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from Kampala International University (KIU) and a Diploma in Mass Communications from Kenya Institute of Mass Communications (KIMC).
Mr. Ochieng has vast experience in Strategic Communication, having formulated and implemented various media strategies and campaigns in the Corporate sector, Political Parties & Aspirants and Private Media Companies. His experience in the mainstream media has seen him work for Voice of America (VOA) in Washington DC, Standard Media Group’s Kenya Television Network (KTN), Nation Media Group’s NTV in Kenya and Uganda, Union of Radio and Television Network of Africa (URTNA), and Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS).
