CPA Caren Onyango hold Master of Business Administration-Finance from Maseno University, First Class Honours Bachelor of Commerce-finance degrees from Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Diploma in Corporate Governance, and is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). She has rich history in financial and administration management spanning over twenty-five (25) years in various organizations and assignments mostly in the Non-Governmental Institutions. She worked with Plan International between 2011-2017, where she had overseas experiences working in other countries; Ethiopia, Rwanda and Mozambique. At the moment she is a key staff in a USAID funded program with Moi University College of Health Sciences (MUCHS) as The Director, Finance and Administration.

Some of the professional assignments she has carried out include; verification exercise of suppliers pending Bills of Busia County Government and Lead Auditor to world bank funded projects TOWA in Nyanza region- 2014 audited up-to 200 CBO/NGOs, giving appropriate reports and recommendations under Kefa Frankline Auditing firm, offers financial & administrative assistance to various up-coming projects on systems/policies formulation and implementation.

CPA Caren is personate about empowering communities especially young people to self reliance; she aims to enable the society improve knowledge to add value in various undertakings through capacity building and service to humanity.
